We had a busy summer since our daughter “moved inl” with her family for 9 weeks. They were overwhelmed with chores (and no nanny), both working in demanding jobs, a very active 4 year old and one 7, virtuell schooling - and of course I LOVED to have them! Good to have a house with 4 bedrooms!

Later in August Martin and I could leave to visit family in Vienna since we have 2 passports, EU and USA. That was a very fine time, able to see friends and sit in restaurants - in stores only to wear a MASK!
October we visited Matthias &Co in San Francisco - they are ok too but the city lost a lot of glamour - no life Downtown since everybody works in Home Office. I’ll Send a photo later.

Now we are in Lockdown stages, also here in Michigan - it’s getting boring! So far we have avoided the virus but hardly mingle with people.
12/17 we’ll fly to Florida and also expect the family of our daughter to arrive - they will be driving from Charlotte, N.C.
“Rules and regulations” change so often - and are different in other States - I still hope nobody will get sick.

We heard a lot on TV about Brasil/ Covid/ the president ....but it seems to have ebbed now .... news on TV here are only about the last election &Trump and now the send off of the vaccination! Have to watch BBC to know what’s going on in the rest of the world (and I read the Austrian Newspaper on the Internet!)
